| | What a tragedy. Over something so trivial. This whole thing
hits so close to home. I can't put into words how shocked I was
when I saw his picture and it hit me that it's the same David Ludwig
I've met before and talked to a few times. I even had a class
with him a few years ago. He was such a nice, friendly kid.
Nothing weird or abnormal about him at all from what I saw.
Yes, what he did was so wrong and so sick. But what bothers me is
that people who have no idea who he is are making him out to be some
psycho and lunatic which he never was before this happened. I'm
friends with some of his friends. A ton of people know and love
this kid. Or did. Everyone just pray. Pray that the
Borden family will get over this and that David will repent and find
forgiveness, if he hasn't already. He's just thrown his life
away. Pray for all the family and friends that have been affected
by all of this. It'll a long time for the Borden kids who
witnessed this whole thing to get over it. Probably much more so
for Kara herself.
My whole perspective on life has just changed. It's all so
fragile. Mankind is capable of so much evil. Yes, even the
best of us are. Let's not forget that.
For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. Not
just David. Jesus loves him no less than He loves you or
me. Yet God is a God justice as well. A heavy price will
have to be paid for what he did. But in all this there is still
forgiveness. What an amazing God we serve.
No I'm not defending him or justifying him. What he did was sick.
Pray.
